Science Fair

Every Year 7 boy produced a science board this year and there was lots of variety in the topics picked, everything from balloon cars to composting.

The boys put lots of effort and hard work into their boards and were externally adjudicated by our guest judge Warren Bruce. The standard was very high and eleven boys were selected to represent the school at the annual Sanford Science Fair in Timaru. The eleven picked were: Oliver Agnew, Will Goldsbury, Harrison Kingan, Sam Lambie, Isaac Rayward, Jack Scott, Lachie Short, Luke Slee, Mitchell Suddaby, Archie Tayler and Tom Taylor.

The Sanford Science Fair was held on the Tuesday 12 September at Caroline Bay Hall in Timaru. There were over 300 entries, covering an area from Ashburton to Oamaru to Fairlie. The boys represented the school excellently and spoke to the judges clearly and with enthusiasm.

    (Silver and Ara Junior Science award)

  • Luke Slee                         Colostrum Liquid Gold                                            
    (Gold award)
