I have been teaching at Waihi for the last 1.5 years and I love the interaction and growth that Year 7 presents.  Outside of the classroom I love our Design and Textiles club which is challenging and fun for both myself and the students!

I have grown up locally, so teaching at Waihi gives me ample chance to catch up with my family (we are a family of six of which I am the eldest sibling of four kids).  I have my very own menagerie with an abundance of animals including pigs, sheep, horses and dogs - not forgetting my precious princess - Annie the Ragdoll cat!

In taking time for myself I love to hang out with friends, walking, reading books or taking a horse ride, these are all wonderful ways to wind down from busy Waihi life!
