In 2013, the Waihi Association generously provided a Scholarship, to the value of $5,000 per annum, to be awarded to a day boy.  Furthermore, the Waihi Association made it clear that this scholarship was to be awarded to a boy of good character, who would perhaps otherwise, due to financial constraints, be unable to experience a Waihi education.

Parents are invited to write a letter of application, addressed to the headmaster, if they wish their son to be considered for this scholarship. Applications close at the end of Term 3, Friday 21 September. Applicants will be invited to an interview with the Headmaster.

Boarding Scholarship

This year the Waihi Association have very generously provided a further two Scholarships to be awarded to boys wishing to board. Once again the Waihi Association made the purpose clear, that they are to be awarded to boys of good character, who would perhaps otherwise, due to financial constraints, be unable to experience a Waihi education.

The scholarship will be awarded to a boy for the life of his time at Waihi and will cover 50% of the boarding element of the school fees each year.

Parents are invited to write a letter of application, addressed to the Headmaster, if they wish their son to be considered for this Scholarship. Applications close at the end of Term 3, Friday 21 September. Applicants will be invited to an interview with the Headmaster.
