To Coaches and Managers


Your team is invited to participate in the Waihi School Sevens Tournament. It is open to all Registered Junior Clubs, from U10 to U13, and comprises a pool ‘round robin’ play, semi-finals and finals in each grade.

Please note that due to ground and time restraints, we will be restricting entries for the tournament. Clubs will initially be restricted to one team per grade.

Team numbers

Each team is to comprise of a maximum of 10 players plus Coach and/or Manager. Playing teams to consist of three forwards and four backs.

Substitutions can only be made at half time or through injury.

Dispensation players from Saturday morning competition teams must play in their correct age grade at this tournament.

Entry fee is $50 per team. 


Full facilities including barbeque, snack food, and drinks available for your convenience.

Please note: Preferential entry will be given to those teams that played last year.
