My name is Karen McArthur and I am the Finance Assistant at Waihi

I have been in this role since the beginning of 2022, and it involves helping out with accounts and finance and providing support to the School Accountant and the Executive when required.  I am enjoying the team and children and all the wonderful meals provided by our very tasty kitchen! 

When I am not at work I am busy working on my small farm or supporting my daughter Jessica in her busy teenage life at Craighead. I also have to cater for our overfriendly cat - Lucy who can be a bit needy! I really love the outdoors and can be found exploring all that our region has to offer or hanging out with family and friends.  I began my role with Waihi at the beginning of 2022, and I am loving it!
