We warmly invite you and your child to attend our Annual Open Day on Sunday 26th May from 11am.
Waihi School offers an independent preparatory education for boys and girls aged from years 4 to 8, with both boarding and day options for your sons and daughters.
Open Day Programme:
| 11.00am | Open Day and Tours Begin: Student led tours of grounds and facilities showcasing some of the features of our very special school; small classroom sizes, specialist subject teachers, supervised prep, learning support, academic and sporting, music and cultural opportunity. |
| 12.30pm | The Headmaster’s address, followed by short presentations from Nathan Morland (Assistant Head and Head of Academics), Ollie Clayson (Assistant Head and Head of Pastoral Care) and Anita Hills (Learning Support, Enrichment and Wellbeing). |
| 1.00pm | Lunch - see what our fabulous cooks have on offer for your tastebuds! |
| 1.30pm | Your child will have the opportunity to swim in the indoor heated pool or run their bike over our purpose-built mountain bike pump track, explore the outdoor ed shed, our indoor climbing facility and challenge themselves on our low ropes course or hit a few balls at the golf driving range! |
